One of the most interesting topics that children love to talk about is ‘L-O-V-E’. They have their crazy definitions of what the word is, whether its right or what they believe is right. They express different ideas that come in to their mind. You can’t blame them, for after all, children are children; they just say what they see.
When children are asked about their ideas concerning love and good looks, here are some of their out of this world answers:
Jeanne, 8 years old says: ‘If you want to be loved by somebody who isn’t already in your family, it doesn’t hurt to be beautiful.’
Gary, 7 years old says ‘It isn’t always just how you look. Look at me, I’m handsome like anything, and I haven’t got anybody to marry me yet.’
Christine, 9 years old says ‘Beauty is skin deep. But how rich you are can last a long time.’
These thoughts only show that children define love in a petty way. They tend to act like professional love gurus who know everything about love.
