Singer Avril Lavigne and “The Hills” star Brody Jenner got matching, lightening bolt tattoos during a recent weekend in Las Vegas, People magazine reports. At the grand opening of Mario Barth’s bar/tattoo parlour, King Ink at the Mirage, on 10th April, Lavigne got a tattoo of the number 30 and a lightening bolt on her wrist. Later on in the night, Jenner got a matching lightening bolt on his neck, just below his ear. Lavigne and Jenner’s weekend in Las Vegas also included dinner at Aria’s Union and drinks at Haze nightclub. People magazine reports that the couple engaged in serious public displays of affection throughout the weekend.
Lavigne filed for divorce from her husband Deryck Whibley, frontman for the band Sum 41, in October after three years of marriage, though interestingly she was spotted with Whibley just last month. The two were coming out of a tattoo shop together, with matching bandages. Her new man, Jenner, became famous as Lauren Conrad’s boyfriend on the MTV reality show, “The Hills.” He is the son of Olympian Bruce Jenner, who is now the co-head of the Kardashian family and songwriter Linda Thompson. Past girlfriends of Jenner’s have included Nicole Richie, Kristin Cavallari, from “The Hills” spin-off show, “Laguna Beach” and most recently, Playboy model Jayde Nicole.
Lavigne has a new single out, “Alice,” which she wrote for the “Almost Alice (Music Inspired by the Motion Picture)” compilation CD.
