Live Life Team
This is a series that has only recently been released on DVD. It is a hit American television series that is still running and being filmed in the Hawaiian islands.
It’s a drama and this first season gave us a lot of background on the various characters who would populate future seasons and episodes. It’s about a group of people who become stranded on a remote tropical island after their plane crashes after veering off-course by some 1,000 miles. Sort of a modern Gilligan’s Island theme, without the comic relief, Lost shows us how this group of unlikely castaways have to adjust to a new way of life where they must forage for their own food and take the steps necessary to ensure their survival until help arrives.
To add to the excitement and suspense factor of this series is the fact that they are not alone on this island. While they have no other human contact, they must avoid a gigantic creature that crashes through the trees on occasion, providing a constant reminder that they are sharing their new “home” with others that are not necessarily friendly, nor want them there.
Many of the locales where this series is filmed are beautiful, and in Hawaii tourists can actually take excursions that visit many of them.
This is one of the most popular television series on the tube today, and seasons one through five can be purchased on DVD. After viewing this set of DVDs for season 1, I’m inclined to check out subsequent seasons.
