There are simple steps used in knitting, which even beginners can manage to handle. Such new ideas and patterns for an innovative design come alive in a unique way and style.
The two types of knitting are the knit stitch and the purl stitch. After preparing the different materials needed to make a stitch, here are some tips on how to make a basic knit stitch.
First- the cast of the needle should be held in the left hand, for better access when knitting the thread, and in the right hand, hold the other needle with the yarn on it that is attached to the main ball of yarn.
Second– the needle tip should be inserted into the first loop in the position of the right needle, behind the left portion of the opposite needle.
Third– the connected yarn from the ball around the back portion of the right needle should be in between for a better way of knitting.
Fourth– the front loop should be pulled downward while the left needle is under the right position making a drawing loop within it.
Fifth– the remainder stitch of the left needle should be tightened from the yarn’s tension in the right fingers and the knit stitch should be on the right part.
Sixth– just continue the process of stitching, until the last part of every row is done in order to reach the end portion of the stitch.
Seventh– by turning the knitting process every next row around to the back, facing the stitches in the left area, the process should continue until the next row to be knitted.
