Part of the Elite Hotels Group, Ashdown Park is a nineteenth century mansion set in 186 acres of landscaped countryside, close to the Hundred Acre Wood. It has 106 individually decorated rooms, which fall into eight categories to suit all budgets, from Standard Deluxe rooms to Master Suites. Some rooms offer a separate sitting area, whirlpool baths, four-poster beds, while the ground floor rooms have patio doors leading out into the gardens.
Guests have complimentary use of the Country Club, which includes a pool, gym, sauna, tennis court and putting green. Golfing enthusiasts can also take advantage of the adjacent 18-hole golf course.
The hotel’s efficient event team will be happy to assist with the planning of every aspect of your wedding and are able to host events for up to 160 people. Several rooms are licensed for the ceremony and there is a choice of suites for the celebrations. Ashdown Park can also assist with supplying the wedding cake, music, transport and menu planning. The hotel’s restaurant has an award-winning chef who uses produce grown in Ashdown’s own grounds. Extensive menus have been created to provide a wide choice for the wedding breakfast and evening reception.
Wedding packages are available, which can include various items, such as a red carpet, floral arrangements, cake stand and toastmaster. Wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom is included and some packages offer complimentary accommodation for two wedding guests.
