The Bannatyne Hotel, in Darlington, is a Grade II listed townhouse offering 60 en-suite rooms ranging from Club Single rooms to Junior suites. All rooms have Internet access and plasma TVs, while the Executive rooms have garden views and complimentary fruit and chocolates. he hotel also has a four-poster room equipped with a DVD player.
Complimentary access to the Bannatyne Health Club and Spa, which is just five minutes from the hotel, is available. Guests can take advantage of the alternative therapies and beauty treatments available or take part in fitness classes in the gym.
The hotel has a wedding co-ordinator who will hold regular meetings with couples planning their wedding. An all-inclusive package is available, provided there is a minimum of 70 guests and this includes items such as table linen, menus and seating plan, along with other details such as floral arrangements. Staff are able to arrange entertainment with the resident DJ or a live band.
The bridal suite is complimentary for the wedding night, as part of the package and guests can also take advantage of reduced rates for accommodation. Larger parties, of up to 150 guests, can be accommodated in the Wilbur Suite, while other function rooms are available for smaller gatherings.
Maxine’s Bar & Restaurant offers an extensive menu, making use of locally sourced ingredients and menus for the wedding breakfasts and evening receptions can be tailored to suit individual tastes and dietary requirements.
