The Beggars Reach is an old country mansion house in the Pembrokeshire countryside, not far from the port of Milford Haven. The house’s surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained with walled trees, formal arrangements and attractive borders. This is a sublime setting for your wedding photographs with the trees and fields of the West Wales hills as your backdrop.
The venue is used to coordinating weddings and their elegant restaurant and banqueting rooms will provide the ideal setting to hold your wedding breakfast and reception. They are able to comfortably cater for up to 140 diners and have space for a party of 300 to enjoy themselves. The gardens and terrace can also be used to hold an evening BBQ or hog roast for your guests during the summer with outdoor entertainment options available.
The hotel has 29 individually designed bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and serene views across the gardens and Pembrokeshire landscape.
Should your guests be staying for the weekend and need additional entertainment there are plenty of tourist sites to visit. Nearby you can find the pretty fishing village of Tenby or Haverford West, along with many other castles which have made this area famous, or you can take a leisurely stroll along the Pembrokeshire coastal footpath.
The Beggars Reach is on the western edge of Wales and is simple to access by following the M4 to Carmarthen, then the A40 to St Clears and on to Pembroke Dock. Train travellers can reach the hotel from Dyfed station, which is a short taxi drive away.
