Coed y Mwstwr, meaning “the whispering wood”, is a cosy Victorian country mansion situated in a beautifully constructed garden with views out across the Vale of Glamorgan, making the perfect setting for those wedding photographs. The house is stylishly decorated throughout reflecting its Victorian origins and providing a graceful venue in which to marry.
The hotel is registered to conduct wedding ceremonies and celebrate civil partnerships and they have three function rooms of varying size to cater for your wedding party. The intimate Fox Room holds up to 25 people, while the Eliot Restaurant can hold 65. For larger groups the Hendre Suite is recommended as it can stage an occasion for 170 seated guests and up to 250 for the evening. During the summer months a marquee can be erected in the gardens which can cater for up to 300 people.

The hotel is located two miles from junction 35 (Pencoed) of the M4 motorway and four miles from Bridgend town centre. Rail travellers using the South Wales, London Paddington line can get off in Bridgend and then it is only a short taxi drive to the hotel.
