The Hare and Hounds Hotel dates back to the early eighteenth century and is set in several acres of landscaped gardens in the village of Westonbirt, near Tetbury. The award-winning hotel offers 45 rooms, some with satellite TV, wireless Internet access and garden views. Rooms range from standard singles to suites with facilities for families and those with impaired mobility. The tennis courts in the grounds are available for hotel guests to use.
The Beaufort Restaurant has a menu that features both English and Continental dishes, which are created from seasonal local ingredients. For weddings and other events the menus available are varied to suit all tastes and budgets. There are vegetarian options and special dietary requirements can be catered for. Options available for wedding breakfasts include a seated meal or carvery buffet and a range of choices are available for buffets at evening receptions.
The hotel can accommodate ceremonies for up to 120 guests and receptions for up to 200. The events team are there to assist with planning the finer details of the day and can provide a Master of Ceremonies to guide the celebrations.
As part of the wedding package available, the Hare and Hounds will include personalised menu cards and reduced accommodation rates for guests. Exclusive use of the hotel may be a possibility if required and discounts are available for ceremonies and receptions held on certain days and times of year.
