Llechwen Hall is located just outside Pontypridd, set amidst six acres of hilltop gardens and woodlands. With magnificent views all around this historic, former Country house, hotel offers a wonderful location for weddings and other event.
Llechwen is fully licensed to conduct marriage ceremonies and civil partnerships and has a number of ideally suited function rooms just for the purpose. The Nelson suite, with its oak beams, presents a great setting and can cater for up to 90 people. It comes complete with its own private bar and patio, leading directly into the gardens. For larger gatherings a garden Marquee can be erected which can hold 200 guests offering picturesque views across the Welsh valleys.
The hotel contains 20 elegantly decorated, old-world style en-suite bedrooms and the bridal suite has a large four-poster bed. The hotel has wireless internet connection throughout and comes with all the modern services and facilities.
Being located in the peaceful hillsides of the mid Glamorganshire does not mean you are isolated. If your guests want to occupy themselves during the day Cardiff and Caerphilly are only minutes away and there are plenty of tourist locations within easy reach to keep them occupied.
To reach Llechwen Hall, leave the M4 at junction 33 and take the A470 past Pontypridd and turn off at Abercynon and head into the hills. If you are travelling by train you will need to change at Cardiff and get the Valley’s line train to Abercynon.
