The Lyncombe Lodge Hotel is a former hunting lodge set in 250 acres of the Mendips countryside. The family run establishment offers ten rooms and four chalet-style rooms which range from twin to family rooms. All are equipped with freeview TV and wireless internet access.
The Garden restaurant uses fresh local produce to create its traditional menu and those dining here for Sunday lunch will be entertained by the resident pianist. For those planning a wedding there are a range of dishes to choose from when selecting either a menu for a wedding breakfast or organising an evening buffet. Vegetarian and children’s options are also available.
Lyncombe Lodge can host a wedding ceremony for up to 80 guests, which is also the maximum number of guests for a wedding breakfast. The Garden room opens onto the terrace which is ideal for a drinks reception prior to the meal, weather permitting. Evening ceremonies for up to 120 can be accommodated. The couple can also choose the services of a Master of Ceremonies, if they so wish.
The hotel has a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to oversee all the necessary arrangements for the day and the hotel’s exclusive use wedding package includes items such as the three course wedding breakfast, the evening buffet, a drinks package to cover arrival drinks, wine with the meal and a drink for the toast and accommodation for a total of 30 people. The exclusive use wedding package is based on minimum guest numbers.
