The Marriott Peterborough is a four star establishment set in eleven acres of landscaped grounds just three miles from the city centre. It offers 163 rooms all with views of the extensive grounds and equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV and internet access. Facilities for the disabled are available. The restaurant uses seasonal ingredients to create its traditional dishes and for those planning a wedding there is a range of banqueting menus available, along with drinks packages and children’s menus. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated.
The hotel can host a wedding ceremony and breakfast for up to 200 guests with up to 250 people at an evening reception. The hotel has a fully trained and certified wedding co-ordinator who can assist with arranging many details of the day. A directory of recommended external wedding services can be provided if needed.
The hotel’s wedding package includes a red carpet welcome, the services of a Master of Ceremonies to guide the day, a complimentary menu tasting prior to the day, table linen, discounted accommodation rates for guests and wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom. Staff are also able to assist with arranging a honeymoon at any Marriott hotel in the world and couples will have a personalised web page where their guests can book accommodation and view details of the menus and gift list.
