The area, spread over 280 acres of landscaped gardens, is impressively beautiful enclosed with the rolling landscape of the borders and scenic views all around. The house has a number of function rooms available, from the William Morris suite which holds 60 guests, to the privacy of the Shropshire or the Cwm rooms that cater for smaller personal gatherings. Should you have a larger party; a banqueting marquee can be erected in the grounds which will comfortably hold 300 people.
The Mellington Hall has ten en-suite bedrooms, superior suites and a family room which can hold six. The M54 and A5 provide the best route to Mellington Hall from the Midlands, whilst travellers from both the south and north should head for the A49 which links north and south Wales. Rail users can catch one of the regular trains to either nearby Newtown or Welshpool, while the nearest airport is Birmingham International.
