The Porth Tocyn Hotel is a stunning cliff top hotel with views across Cardigan Bay. The Fletcher-Brewer family have been running this peacefully located, venue for three generations, since 1948. They offer a unique environment, in the tranquil surrounds of the Llyn peninsula that can cater to small compact parties of around 50 people. Hire of the whole hotel or simply the function rooms can be arranged and there is plenty of accommodation in their 17 en-suite bedrooms.
This classic country house, crammed with antiques, stylish period furniture and heaps of atmosphere will give your wedding a truly elegant feel to it. The wedding reception and evening’s entertainment can be held in the extensive dinning room, while welcome drinks and aperitifs can be served in the reception rooms. Guests will also have use of the extensive landscaped gardens which comes complete with swimming pool and tennis court.
For those who wish to stay over throughout the weekend there is ample to entertain them during their stay. With Pwllheli nearby to explore and the gorgeous Llyn countryside suitable for relaxing walks, they are bound to enjoy their stay.
The Porth Tocyn Hotel is situated on the headland, on the other side of Abersoch. To reach the area from the north take the A55 to Bangor then follow the A487 – A499 to Abersoch. If you are travelling from the south take the A470 to Ffestiniog and then the A487. If you decide to travel by train you can reach Pwllheli and then take a taxi for the last 10 miles to Abersoch.
