Part of the Legacy hotel group, this thirteenth century, former coaching inn, is situated in the historic city of Salisbury. The hotel has 29 rooms ranging from standard to feature and a four-poster room is also available. Facilities include a room service menu and free wireless Internet in some areas.
Couples holding a wedding at the Rose and Crown will be offered every assistance with the planning of the event and the services of a dedicated duty manager, on the day, to ensure all the arrangements run smoothly.
There is a choice of rooms for the ceremony; the Cardinal Suite seats 30; the Cathedral Suite up to 60 and the Pavilion Restaurant up to 100 guests. Wedding packages are available for events of more than 45 people and can include items such as floral arrangements for the tables, a complimentary room for the bride and groom for their wedding night, a complimentary meal for two on the first anniversary and flowers for the bride and groom’s mothers. Guests can also take advantage of reduced accommodation rates.
If required, the hotel will arrange the services of a toastmaster for the wedding breakfast and a DJ, for the evening reception. The riverside location is perfect for the wedding photographs, while the restaurant has views of the cathedral.
A varied menu is available to choose from for both wedding breakfasts and evening buffets and can be tailored to suit individual requirements. Drinks packages to cover welcome drinks, the toast and wine with the wedding breakfast can be purchased to suit individual requirements.
