Shottle Hall Country House is located on the Chatsworth Estate on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is set in four acres of landscaped gardens and a further 14 acres of parkland. It has eight individually styled rooms all with en-suite and equipped with flat screen TV and free broadband access. The bridal suite has a four poster bed, antique furniture and breathtaking views over the Ecclesbourne valley. As a special treat, the hotel can arrange for flowers and champagne in the couple’s room on arrival.
The hotel has dedicated wedding planners that can assist with organising all aspects of the day, including advising on car hire, wedding cakes, music for the reception, florists and photographers.
The wedding ceremony can be held in the Coach House Lounge or the Shottle Hall Lounge, both of which can accommodate up to 100 people.
The Orangery restaurant can accommodate 100 people for a seated wedding breakfast and up to 150 for an evening buffet. Smaller wedding parties can make use of the Devonshire dining room or the Library, while the marquee is available for much larger parties, holding 250 as standard or 500 if extended.
An exclusive use wedding package is available and due to the limited amount of accommodation, arrangements can be made for up to 100 guests to stay at associate hotels in the area with transport arranged for travelling to and from Shottle Hall. There are facilities for landing a helicopter in the grounds and the hotel can arrange this if required.
