The Coniston Hotel is situated on a private country estate in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. It offers 50 rooms; ten of these are Executive rooms which are air-conditioned. All the rooms are equipped with satellite TV and free broadband internet access. There is available a 24 hour room service menu and facilities are accessible for the mobility impaired. Guests can indulge in country pursuits such as fishing and shooting on the estate.
The hotel’s restaurant has a menu comprised of dishes using fresh local produce and is known to include traditional Yorkshire food. Alfresco dining is a possibility during warmer weather.
For those planning a wedding, the hotel can offer a number of rooms which can accommodate a maximum of 120 guests, depending on the size of the ceremony party. Wedding breakfasts can be hosted for up to 140 people and evening receptions can accommodate up to 200. Drinks receptions can be held on the terrace in fine weather prior to the meal.
The Coniston Hotel has a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to oversee the organisation of the celebrations. The hotel will host only one wedding per day to ensure the undivided attention of the events team. A directory of recommended external wedding services is also available if required.
The hotel’s wedding package includes items such as wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom, dance floor hire, table linen, a late license for the bar and reduced accommodation rates for a number of guests.
