Situated close to Burnham Beeches, the Grovefield House Hotel dates back to around 1900 and is set in seven acres of parkland. An AA four-star hotel, it offers 40 individually decorated, en-suite rooms, all with Freeview TV, plasma screen and free Internet access.
Hamilton’s restaurant has a two-rosette award for its cuisine. The menu is a mix of classic English dishes and modern European fare and the restaurant’s policy is to use local seasonal ingredients. There are a variety of menu choices available for wedding breakfasts and buffets, including a children’s menu. The hotel can accommodate any special dietary requirements and couples are able to attend a complimentary menu tasting prior to the wedding.
For their weddings, couples have exclusive use of the hotel and events of up to 180 can be catered for. There is a dedicated wedding co-ordinator available to assist with planning all details of the day.
The hotel’s wedding packages are designed to ease the decision making process and include details such as drinks, red carpet, table linen, dance floor hire, changing facilities for the bridal party and floral arrangements. Wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom is also provided. A ‘Pic and Mix’ list allows couples to create their own package, choosing only the items they require.
The hotel has a resident DJ or live entertainment can be arranged if required. Receptions may take place on the private terrace and summer weddings can take advantage of the gardens.
