Situated on a cliff in Clevedon, the Walton Park Hotel has views of both the Severn Estuary and the Welsh hills. Part of the Best Western group of hotels, it was built in the late nineteenth century and boasts two acres of gardens and 40 rooms, all en-suite with a TV and 24 hour room service.
The award winning chefs in the Somerset restaurant have created a seasonally changing menu using local produce. For those planning a wedding, a wide variety of menus are available to choose from for the wedding breakfast and the hotel can cater for specific dietary requirements.
Several options are available for the civil ceremony. The hotel can host ceremonies for up to 130 guests and the Channel Pavilion is now available for an alfresco wedding. Evening receptions of up to 150 guests can also be catered for. Weddings held from Sunday to Friday or during some winter months may qualify for a discount.
The hotel’s in-house wedding co-ordinator can assist with many details of the event and there are two wedding packages which offer items such as a red carpet, a Master of Ceremonies, complimentary accommodation for the bride and groom, changing facilities for the bride if required, floral arrangements for the tables with matching linen and personalised menu cards. Entertainment can be provided by the hotel’s resident DJ or live entertainment can be arranged if preferred.
