While the Tsvetnaya Bolonka dog breed likes to spend time outdoors, they are considered an indoor dog. They can do very well living in apartments and small houses and, because of this, they are a very popular dog for people living in the city. For exercise, they need to be taken for walks, preferably several times a day. They will also play fetch. Another good thing about the Tsvetnaya Bolonka is that they are great with children, including kids of a younger age. They can even live with other animals, including other dog breeds, if the other animal is of roughly the same or smaller size. Tsvetnaya Bolonka dogs make great pets because they easy to train, and are very loving to their family.
Tsvetnaya Bolonka dogs are quite small and can be picked up and held easily. They are a bit shorter than they are long. They average a height between 20 and 28 centimetres tall, although a height between 24 and 26 centimetres is most desirable. They are also very light and have a weight between 4 and 6 kilograms. Their coat is thick and dense, though soft and silky to the touch. Their hair is long and it forms large curls or waves. They also have a thick under coat that helps them keep warm in cold weather. Their coat is consistently long on their face and it forms what looks like a moustache and beard. Their coat can be of any colour except white.
