This seventeenth century country house is set in 170 acres of private garden and parkland close to East Grinstead. There are a range of individually designed rooms and suites to suit all tastes and budgets, from classic rooms equipped with televisions and tea and coffee making facilities to spa suites with four poster beds, marble bathrooms, LCD TVs and DVD players.
For relaxation, the award winning Utopia Spa has a wide range of facilities, including a steam room, sauna, gym and therapy rooms. Guests can take part in fitness classes and beauty treatments are available.
When planning your wedding, one of the hotel’s co-ordinators will work closely with you to plan every aspect of the day and an event manager will be available to look after the happy couple and guests on the day itself. The Alexander House Hotel can accommodate up to 100 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an evening reception. The restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes for its cuisine.
Wedding packages are available in various budget ranges and can include a room for the bridal party to change in, a suite for the bride and groom’s wedding night, entertainment, table decorations, canapés and drinks. One package even offers a helicopter ride for the happy couple. The hotel also offers a ‘Just for Two’ package for those looking for a more private and intimate ceremony.
