Ashburnham Hotel is an idyllic, modern, rural wedding venue, set deep in the Carmarthenshire countryside, near Pembrey’s famous sands. It overlooks the Gower peninsula and is surrounded by beautiful wooded and parkland scenery.
The hotel is a registered venue for civil weddings and provides a lovely location for those about to tie the knot. The dedicated staff are able to help with planning and creating the perfect wedding day, from organising catering, menus and function rooms, to liasing with local suppliers for all those little extras that make the day special.
The Ashburnham Suite is a large venue, suited to holding your wedding reception. With its own private bar and dance floor you will be able to celebrate in complete privacy, along with your guests. The room is able to hold up to 150 people or for smaller intimate weddings there is also the Pembrey Room.
Despite its location, there is plenty to entertain any guests wishing to make a weekend of it. Golf, go-karting and the country park are all on hand to distract even the most demanding of guests, while you prepare for the big day. All the rooms are furnished in a contemporary style, simple and elegant with en-suite facilities, satellite TV and refreshments.
Pembrey, although rural in nature, is situated on the main railway line from London to Pembroke Docks, while only a short drive down a country road from the M4 motorway and within easy reach of Burry Port Dock, if you have your own boat.
