Set in 18 acres, Babington House Hotel is situated in Babington, near Frome. Each of its 32 rooms is individually designed and equipped with LCD TV, DVD player and wireless Internet access. Facilities for mobility-impaired guests are available and all rooms have excellent views of the grounds, with some overlooking the lake.
All guests have access to the Cowshed Spa, where there are a range of treatments on offer, along with indoor and outdoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna, fitness studio and a fully equipped gym. In addition, there is a tennis court and croquet lawn in the grounds and the hotel also has a poolroom.
The Little House is a childcare facility, which is free to guests of the hotel while they are on the premises and is open seven days a week. There is a cinema, with seating for 45, which is available for private screenings.
The hotel is able to host weddings from Monday to Thursday and can cater for events of up to 120 people. Couples planning their wedding can consult with the events manager to organise all aspects of their day. Babington House offers bespoke wedding packages, which include the wedding breakfast, canapés and drinks.
Ceremonies can be held in the Library, which can accommodate up to 40 guests. The Orangery and Log Room are able to accommodate 120 people and exclusive use of the hotel is available as part of the package.
