The Bedford Lodge Hotel is an award winning, four-star hotel in Newmarket, which dates back to the seventeenth century. It offers 55 rooms and suites, all en-suite with satellite TV; some are equipped with DVD players. Guests have access to the health club and facilities, which include a gym, exercise studio, indoor swimming pool, sauna and the services of personal trainers.
The Orangery restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes and uses seasonal local produce to create its menu. For those planning a wedding or other event there is a wide choice of dishes to suit all tastes, with vegetarian options and a separate children’s menu if required.
Wedding ceremonies can be held for up to 160 guests, with wedding breakfasts accommodating up to 150. Larger parties can be hosted in a marquee if needed. The use of the hotel’s Classics Suite is based on a minimum of 80 guests, but smaller parties can also be accommodated in one of the other function suites.
The hotel has a team of dedicated wedding co-ordinators who are there to assist with organising many details of your day, which can all be tailored to individual requirements.
Bedford Lodge has a wedding package available that includes arrival drinks, wine with the meal and a drink for the toast, table floral arrangements and wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom. Accommodation for guests may be available at a reduced rate.
