The Bourne Hall Country House is a Victorian building set in three acres of landscaped gardens. The hotel is a family run establishment situated in Shanklin on the edge of the Luccombe Downs. It has 30 individually decorated rooms, some with sea views and all equipped with TVs and CD players. Rooms range from standard to suites and guests have access to the on-site leisure facilities which include two swimming pools, a games room and a range of holistic and beauty treatments.
The restaurant is air conditioned and its menu has a variety of dishes created from fresh local produce. For banqueting menus there are a range of dishes to choose from including vegetarian options. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
The hotel has a number of function rooms for weddings and other events and can accommodate up to 120 people for a reception. Larger parties may be hosted in a marquee erected in the grounds. The hotel has an events team to assist with the organisation of all the details and a directory of recommended external wedding services can be provided on request.
Bourne Hall has an in-house toastmaster if needed and the wedding party can arrange a rehearsal dinner at the hotel. The hotel’s grounds provide an ideal backdrop for the wedding photographs and the Terrace is available for drinks receptions. Wedding guests can take advantage of reduced accommodation rates and there is a split level bridal suite for the bride and groom.
