Caer Beris, Manor

Location: Builth Wells, Powys

Caer Beris, Builth Wells is the perfect wedding venue. The hotel is a grade II listed manor house in the Upper Wye valley on the border of the Brecon Beacons and the Cambrian mountains. It is located in the gorgeous setting of Mid Wales splendour, with its bubbling streams, rolling hillsides and Victorian dams. The manor house has been restored to its former glory and now provides first class facilities for hosting your special day.

The Lords of Powys have been living here for over 1600 years and over this period the manor house and surrounding country gardens have undergone many changes. With many features restored, including the swing bridge and the orchards, Caer Beris now has 23 exquisite en-suite bedrooms in period decoration, along with the Irfon Suite which can hold 100 seated guests or 200 for a reception party. The wood panelled 13th century Tudor room can also be used for smaller groups or the garden marquee can cater for 250.

The sumptuous surroundings of the Garden Lounge provide an excellent choice for the ceremony itself, while the expertly landscaped gardens are the ideal setting to capture those memorable wedding day photographs. The hotel has a comprehensive wedding package and is more than happy to assist in arranging and making suggestions for your event.

Caer Beris is on the outskirts of Builth Wells in Mid Wales, off the A470 and the A483. Rail travellers should take the Heart of Wales line to Cilmery station where the hotel provides a pick up service for guests.
