Part of the Best Western hotel group, the Quy Mill Hotel is situated on the edge of Cambridge and stands in 11 acres of landscaped gardens. This three-star hotel is a former Grade II listed watermill. It has 50 rooms all equipped with internet access and satellite TV and some with four-poster beds. The hotel has a laundry service, 24-hour reception and guests have free access to the health club where facilities include a fitness studio, swimming pool and sauna.
The award winning restaurant serves modern English cuisine and for those planning a wedding or other event the banqueting menu has a range of traditional dishes to choose from, with options for children and vegetarians.
The hotel can accommodate 80 guests for a wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast and up to 150 for an evening buffet reception. For those wanting a larger celebration a marquee can be erected in the grounds to cater for up to 300 for both the wedding breakfast and evening reception. There are also several function rooms to choose from depending on the size of the gathering.
The Quy Mill has a wedding co-ordinator to assist with the organisation of the day and wedding packages include features such as wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom; a red carpet welcome; table linen; the services of a toastmaster and changing facilities for the wedding party.
