The Hawkstone Park Hotel is set in 100 acres of Shropshire countryside close to the village of Weston and dates back to 1790. It offers 66 rooms which range from single rooms to suites and all are equipped with satellite TV and internet access. Guests can take advantage of the extensive leisure facilities which include a golf centre, croquet lawn, clay pigeon shooting and tennis.
The restaurant uses locally sourced produce to create its menu of traditional British and French cuisine. A variety of dishes are available on banqueting menus for weddings and other celebrations along with several drinks packages.
The hotel has five function rooms to choose from and couples planning a wedding will be assigned their own wedding co-ordinator to assist with organising all the details of the day. Weddings are tailored to individual requirements though some packages are available. These can include items such as a red carpet welcome, the three course wedding breakfast, some floral decorations for the ceremony room and receptions, menu cards and personalised table plans, the services of a toastmaster and wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom.
Minimum guest numbers may apply on certain days and off-peak weddings may qualify for a discount. Hotel staff are also able to help source florists, entertainment for the evening reception and photographers. The hotel’s vast grounds provide an ideal backdrop for wedding photographs.
