Whether you are planning a small reception with only a few guests or a reception with hundreds, hotels are often a great place to hold your special event.
One of the great aspects of a hotel reception is being spoilt for choice in price. Most hotels are positively delighted to be chosen as the venue for your reception. Whether they are 4 or 5 star hotels with beautiful surroundings, stained-glass windows and wood panelled suites or a quirky rustic hotel with wooden floors and an informal atmosphere, they will consider it a privilege to host your reception.
Most hotels will require you to use their catering services, wait staff and their bar. However, they will be able to tailor their services according to your budget with a range of affordable packages. Having easy access to accommodation will also be a great bonus!
Sports or social club wedding reception.
A sports or social club often has some great. They are often able to cater specifically to your needs and will have caterers already arranged who have plenty of experience catering for wedding receptions. A bar is usually on site, with a dance floor already available, and chairs and tables won’t need to be hired in from elsewhere.
You may have to put down some money for insurance, but hiring the venue is generally affordable, and you do get your insurance money back as long as no one breaks any windows! With a couple of security guards on the door, you can be safe in the knowledge that no ex-partners will be able to gatecrash your happy day.
