Llanerchaeron

Location: Aberaeron, Ceredigion

This 18th century, gentry’s estate in the Ceredigionshire countryside has been left in its original condition from the time it was built. Overlooking the Aeron Valley in the midst of a beautifully designed garden, Llanerchaeron offers an unusual and interesting venue for weddings or any other special event. The nearby lake, the restored Regency buildings and the surrounding Welsh countryside all contribute to make any occasion held at Llanerchaeron a special one.

For your wedding or civil partnership ceremony there are two medium sized function rooms available at Llanerchaeron; the Billiard room which holds 40 people and the refurbished Stable block which can accommodate up to 70 guests. You can also use one of the larger halls or have a marquee erected on the estate’s lawns which will hold a reception party and evening event for a larger party.

Llanerchaeron is near the picturesque fishing village of Aberaeron on Cardigan Bay, an area of outstanding beauty and ever popular destination for the Welsh tourist industry. The area has many excellent hotels, guest houses and B&B’s available to suit all tastes. The area will also provide plenty to keep your guests entertained while you prepare your special day.

The estate is located about 3 miles inland from Aberaeron on the A482 from KL1159_0109CPG_2109_15_38E. The easiest way to reach Aberaeron from the south is to follow the M4 motorway to Carmarthen and then up to Lampeter. If you are travelling from the north, the best route is the leisurely drive through mid Wales via Welshpool and Newtown to Aberystwyth and from there take the coastal road, A487 to Aberaeron.
