The Manor House is a four star hotel situated in the village of Moreton-in-Marsh in the heart of the Cotswolds. Its 35 rooms are individually styled with period features which date back to the sixteenth century. Rooms range from a double room to a self-contained cottage and facilities are available for the mobility impaired.
The critically acclaimed restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes and has a seasonal menu based on local produce. For weddings, the menus cover a wide variety of tastes but special dietary requirements can be catered for. Evening buffets can be themed, from traditional picnic food to Thai.
There are two suites available for a wedding ceremony which can hold up to 120 guests with the option for an alfresco ceremony in the garden Breeze House now possible. Minimum guest numbers apply on Fridays and Saturdays and discounts are available for those holding a wedding from Sunday to Thursday. Reduced accommodation rates are available for wedding guests.
A wedding co-ordinator is on hand to assist with details that need to be organised. An evening reception can be held for 135 people or 200 people if two suites are used. For evening celebrations the restaurant can only be used if the hotel is taken on an exclusive use basis. Drinks packages are available to cover welcome drinks, wine with the wedding breakfast and champagne or sparkling wine for the toast.
The reception suites have open views of the landscaped gardens which can be taken advantage of for the wedding photographs. The hotel can recommend photographers and a florist if required.
