Set in the heart of a substantial estate in the beautiful county of Perthshire, the Ballathie House Hotel has entertained all manner of people to include famous names and royalty.
Ballathie House Hotel holds a full licence to hold both civil and religious ceremonies, and can accommodate weddings every month except August and September. The hotel and its vast grounds make for the perfect venue for any size celebration, whether it is intimate or extravagant. The hotel dining room can comfortably cater for 90 guests seated or an informal buffet for the same amount of guests. For larger parties, a marquee can be erected in the grounds, which can cater for up to 200 guests.
Ballathie House Hotel can take care of all the arrangements for the wedding celebration on your behalf, and recommend personal viewings and discussions with our wedding co-ordinator to ensure every element of the day is perfect. As Ballathie House Hotel only host one wedding per day, the bride and groom can be assured of the staff’s full attention at all times, making the day truly special and exclusive; even more so as the entire hotel is given over to the wedding party, with no other guests staying at the hotel on the day.
Accommodation at Ballathie House comprises of 25 rooms in the main house, 16 rooms in the Riverside Rooms suite; and an additional 12 rooms available in the Sportsman’s Lodge. All rooms are en-suite, and most rooms enjoy stunning views of the extensive grounds and surrounding countryside.
All guests for the wedding party are given the option to extend their stay at the hotel, and receive discounted accommodation rates.
