Bankton House Hotel is a Greco-Italian, 19th century listed building, and sits comfortably within its own substantial grounds. The hotel boasts well stocked gardens with beautiful trees, which provide the perfect backdrop for traditional and contemporary wedding photographs all year round. There is access from the hotel grounds to the nearby Murieston Waters, a local beauty spot.
Bankton Hotel holds a licence for both civil ceremonies and civil partnership ceremonies, which can be held in their stunning Victorian conservatory. The ceremony can be witnessed by 75 seated guests.
There is a wide selection of wedding packages available to suit any taste and budget. The hotel can arrange flowers for the tables, personalised menus and even arrange the evening entertainment. The Function Suite can accommodate up to 75 guests for a seated meal; and up to 150 guests for the evening buffet. For smaller parties of 20 or less, the hotel recommends their Blue Room for a more intimate setting.
The hotel does have a limited number of rooms, being just five, but suitable additional accommodation can be recommended and arranged locally for larger parties. Guests are given complete attention at all times and each of the five rooms is exceptionally spacious with en-suites, colour televisions, telephones and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.
Bankton Hotel offers wedding packages all year round, but unfortunately they do not have the facility for erection of marquees.
Local attractions include Wallace Monument, Edinburgh Castle and the Forth Road Bridge; all of which are within a short drive of the hotel.
