Situated on the banks of the River Lark at Mildenhall, the Riverside Hotel is a three star establishment, which dates back to 1720. Close to Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds it offers 22 en-suite rooms with TVs and internet access and guests can take advantage of the room service menu.
The award winning Terrace Restaurant has views down to the river and offers a varied menu. For those planning a wedding, there are a range of dishes to choose from with vegetarian options and special dietary requirements taken into consideration. A bespoke menu can be created to suit individual tastes. Couples are invited to a complimentary menu tasting prior to the day.
The Riverside Hotel can accommodated wedding ceremonies and breakfasts for up to 100 people and evening receptions for up to 150 people. Late licenses can be arranged if required. Drinks packages to cover arrival drinks, wine with the meal and champagne or sparkling wine for the toast are available.
The hotel has a wedding co-ordinator to assist with the planning of the day and a directory of recommended external wedding services is available if required. Assistance can be given with arranging extra special touches such as the evening entertainment or hiring a chocolate fountain. Complimentary wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom is included and a red carpet welcome and reduced accommodation rates for guests can be organised.
