Rookery Hall dates back to 1816 and is situated near Nantwich, in Cheshire. Part of the Hand Picked Hotels Group, it is set in 38 acres of parkland. The hotel offers 70 rooms, ranging from classic rooms to luxury suites. All are equipped with flat screen TV, while some also have DVD players.
The hotel’s health club and spa have a range of facilities including an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gym and eight treatment rooms with a variety of holistic therapies available to guests. The spa also provides beauty treatments and can be booked for bridal make-up on the day of the wedding.
The Dining Room restaurant has an AA two-rosette award and offers a menu that includes organic dishes. There is a market menu updated daily, which is compiled using fresh locally sourced ingredients. The choice of menus for wedding breakfasts and evening receptions include special children’s dishes and all can be prepared to suit specific dietary requirements.
The hotel only hosts one wedding per day, in order to ensure that each event has the undivided attention of the staff. The wedding co-ordination team is able to advise on all aspects of the day and wedding packages include items such as red carpet, toastmaster, personalised menu cards and a complimentary Executive room for the bride and groom on the wedding night. Guests can take advantage of reduced accommodation rates, but the number of rooms available will be limited if the hotel is not taken on an exclusive use basis.
One of the more unusual features available is a helipad for arrivals and departures.
