Ibiza is easily the most famous party island in the world, entertaining thousands of teenage holidaymakers each year. The island has been popular with young travellers since the 60s, when it was a sought after location for members of the bohemian community who were attracted by its beautiful scenery. Today, however, it is its unrivalled night life that brings in the visitors.
Some of the most famous clubs are in Ibiza, such as Pascha, Amnesia and Space. Cafe del Mar is known for its pre-party clubs, offering a stunning view of the sunset over the west coast of the island. However, these popular locations can charge high prices and admission can be over £40 per night. Additionally, drinks will also be at a high price in comparison to the smaller venues around the island.
San Antonio is the main resort on Ibiza, and is where you will find the greatest amount of bars, clubs and accommodation. Hotels are easily found, but, if you are travelling with a group of friends, it is recommended that you rent out one of the many self catering apartments or villas close to San Antonio.
In addition to the restaurants, bars and wild night time activities, there is actually a lot of heritage and culture to discover on the island. Many areas of Ibiza have been designated a UN World Heritage Site and have held on to their natural beauty. Along the coast there are some famous landmarks such as God’s Finger located in Benniras Bay.
