The Beech Hill Hotel has been built into the hillside so it sits on seven levels and has views from many rooms across Lake Windermere. This three-star establishment sits in its own landscaped gardens and offers 57 rooms, which range from a classic room to a ‘premier plus’ quality. All rooms are equipped with a TV and some have four-poster beds with patio doors to the gardens. Guests can also make use of the indoor swimming pool.
The Burlington’s restaurant has been awarded two AA rosettes and guests dining on a Saturday night will be entertained by a jazz quartet or a pianist. There are two menus of traditional dishes created from fresh local ingredients and for those planning a wedding can choose from a variety of dishes for the wedding breakfast.
The hotel is able to accommodate a ceremony for up to 120 guests and a lake cruise can be arranged after the ceremony for a drinks reception depending on the size of the party. The hotel’s wedding co-ordinator is able to assist with organising many aspects of the day, including arranging entertainment for the evening reception.
A list of recommended external wedding services is available if required and place cards and personalised menus will be provided free of charge. Guests can take advantage of reduced accommodation rates and the bride and groom will receive a complimentary one-night stay on their first anniversary.
