The Brackenborough Hotel is situated just outside the town of Louth and is set in its own mature gardens. It has 24 individually styled rooms range from standard doubles to the honeymoon suite and all are equipped with TV and internet access. There are additional lounge areas on the upper floor of the hotel for guests’ use.
The restaurant uses locally produced ingredients to create its seasonally changing menu. The banqueting menus for a wedding breakfast or other function have a wide selection of dishes to choose from and menus can be tailored to individual tastes. Special dietary requirements can be catered for.
The hotel has three room types to choose from for a wedding ceremony and this venue can accommodate up to 300 guests for a wedding breakfast and 400 for an evening reception if couples choose the option of a marquee in the grounds. Entertainment for the evening reception can be arranged by the hotel in the form of a pianist or DJ if required or couples may make their own arrangements.
In conjunction with a local spa, the hotel can offer various beauty packages for both the bride and groom, bridesmaids and family members prior to the day. On the day itself a Master of Ceremonies will guide the proceedings and as a special touch, a chocolate fountain can be booked. Wedding guests will be able to take advantage of reduced accommodation rates.
