This Queen Anne mansion dates from 1710 and was converted into a hotel in 1946. Situated in 10 acres of parkland, with views of the Teme Valley, it is a luxury, family oriented hotel. Many of the rooms are suitable for families, with cots and baby equipment readily available and an Ofsted registered nursery has children’s activities every day.
The Elms offers 23 individually designed rooms, ranging from classic to suites. Some interconnecting rooms are available and all are equipped with flat screen TVs and DVD players.
The Aquae Sulis Spa is ideal for relaxation, with facilities that include a swimming pool, fitness suite, relaxation suite and various holistic treatments. There are also treatments specifically for men and teenagers.
The hotel has an award-winning restaurant, which serves traditional British dishes based on local seasonal produce, organic where possible. For special occasions, menus can be tailored to suit individual taste and dietary requirements. The hotel caters for sit-down meals, buffets or barbecues.
A dedicated wedding planner is on hand to assist couples with co-ordinating their day and the hotel is able to cater for events with up to 70 guests or 150 if choosing a marquee. Exclusive use of the hotel is available on certain dates and it has a recommended florist who can tailor the floral arrangements to your own colour scheme. A member of staff is available to carry out toastmaster duties or if you prefer, the hotel can arrange for a professional Master of Ceremonies.
