Situated on the coast at Skegness, the North Shore Hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre. It offers 36 rooms, which range from single rooms to family rooms and all are equipped with TV and wireless internet. Most rooms have views of the sea and, in addition, guests have access to the 18-hole golf course and shop.
The hotel’s restaurant also has sea views and offers a variety of traditional dishes. For those planning a wedding there is a choice of menus for the wedding breakfast and guests will be offered a choice of dishes on each which they will order on the day. Vegetarian options are available and menus are flexible so they can be designed to individual tastes.
The hotel’s St Andrews Suite can accommodate up to 150 people at the wedding ceremony with a similar number for the wedding breakfast. Numbers will depend on the layout chosen for the room and evening receptions for up to 250 people are possible with the option of a private bar. There are a number of drinks packages on offer to cover arrival drinks, wine with the meal and sparkling wine for the toast, though an upgrade to champagne is available.
The hotel’s wedding package is subject to minimum guest numbers and includes items such as a red carpet welcome; table linen; personalised menus; floral arrangements for the tables; reduced accommodation rates for guests and wedding night accommodation for the bride and groom.
