There are different places in the world where parents can take their children for vacation. Many countries offer great theme parks and beach resorts. Others have great historical sites, but sometimes it would be much better to take a nature trip with the whole family; aside from the relaxing environment, it is also educational.
There are lots of national parks in the world and some of them can be found in India. The Valley of Flowers National Park is a major Indian tourist spot. This place was introduced by the botanist, explorer, and mountaineer Frank S. Smythe in 1937. In 1982, it was declared a national park, and it was also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Valley of Flowers National Park is located in the western Himalayas, and it is famous for its majestic meadows.
This highly diverse park is the home for many seasonal wild flowers such as poppies, orchids, tulips, daisies, calendulas, and anemones, while birch trees cover some area of the park. Additionally, the park is home to rare animals such as brown bears, blue sheep, Asiatic black bears, and snow leopards, which can only be found in Asia. The griffon vultures, Himalayan monals, sparrow hawks, snow pigeons, and snow partridges are some of the birds that live in the park.
